Kinesiology For Digestive Health

Areas where Kinesiology can help with promoting physical and emotional wellbeing and balance,

nearly always start in the gut.

Kinesiology for Digestion

Digestive issues are becoming more and more common in modern society, from an IBS diagnosis to the more extreme conditions such as Colitis and Crohn's disease.  With growing research to suggest the balance of your gut bacteria contributes hugely to general physical and interestingly mental health it has never been more important to address your digestive imbalances.

Causes of poor digestion

There are many factors that contribute to poor digestion, an obvious thought would be food which does hugely affect our gut. However some less obvious causes such as emotional trauma could be the dominant issue.

Food Intolerances

Food intolerances have become more and more common in recent years, if you are consuming a lot of a food that your are intolerant to this can really disrupt gut function and overall health. Within Kinesiology we can use muscle testing to find out which foods may be having a negative impact on your health and work towards building your system up to try to minimise negative reactions to foods.

Microbiome balance

Our gut microbiome is a delicate balance of the so called ' Good guys' and 'Bad guys', we need both for optimal health however if these do become imbalanced our health can suffer. Getting our microbiome as it should be is relatively straight forward through treatment, nutrition and food.

Emotional stress and digestion

That so called 'nervous tummy' is a very physical reaction to emotional stress, long term stress and emotional trauma can have a lasting and not so obvious effect on our gut. I will identify which specific emotional stress is contributing to your gut imbalance and use various techniques to help clear it.
